My paintings are representations of internal elements; which include the tangible along with intangible-human emotion. Painting is a metaphor for my own cathartic internal struggles and life force. Through applying layers of sensuous colors on canvas, I feel out being alive. Colors and textures coalesce around glowing spheres that send out ripples of organic energy.
I intend to create an ethereal and calming effect on the viewer, a walk into a moment of Nirvana. The mutability of my images enables each viewer to create their own meaning from what they see and possibly achieve a personal metamorphosis.
